Join the work in Finland

One Way Mission has various forms of outreach; many of them are based on voluntary service. You can join us for evangelization for the Friday for Christ event each Friday, for prayer on Thursdays, activities for seniors on Wednesdays, youth ministry on Thursdays and Saturdays, and so on.

There is work at our men’s home for volunteers. Our two Sunday schools as well have vacancies for new teachers. Our TV ministry, literature work, café work and all missions coordination, fundraising, etc. are done by volunteers so you are welcome to join us. Join the prayer front

One of the foundation stones of One Way’s ministry is prayer. Ministry in God’s Kingdom is first and foremost picking the fruits of prayer. Join our intercession front.

You can take part in the important role of an intercessor regardless of where you live. Current prayer requests along with testimonies of answered prayers are sent to our intercessors via email. During Thursday’s prayer evenings we also pray for prayer requests that have been sent to us.

Come to our meetings

One Way has many different kinds of spiritual events each week in the capital region as well as around the country. Right in the heart of downtown Helsinki on Kaisaniemenkatu stands One Way House which has activities and events at nights and during weekends. During the day, you can find a café and bookstore there. One Way’s staff and music groups actively visit different parts of Finland.

House Church, established by OWM, has meetings where all who believe in Jesus Christ are welcome. We gather on Sundays near the railway station in the NMKY (YMCA) hall, Vuorikatu 19. Read more about House Church here.

A mission trip abroad

One Way continually arranges short mission trips to different parts of the world. During the trip mission teams take part in the work serving in various tasks according to their abilities and calling. The mission teams also play a major role in coordinating and developing One Way Mission’s entire mission work. The teams operate at their own expense.

The trips last from a weekend to a few months depending on the target country and the task. For more information please contact the coordinator in charge of a particular mission field. Read more on our foreign work pages.

Become a sponsor

One Way works among orphans, street children, youths, widows and the elderly as well as the disabled in different parts of the world. We also run a clinic. This work is financed by Finnish sponsors. Even with a small sponsorship payment of 25€/month you can take part in transforming your neighbor’s destiny.
